Peru Trip
These pix are from our 4-month long odyssey in Peru. Living with the indians, exploring the ancient ruins and learning more about how to heal the planet and the humans that call it home.
(Left) Tami on a swing bridge with our indian guide, crossing the river below the ancient city of Macro high on the cliffs above. (Right) Tami and Terry exploring the Inca city of Macchu Piccu.
(Left) Tami surveys the ruins of Arco Iris, an ancient temple that was dedicated to sacred ceremony of the male/female energy as a way to give back to the love-driven universe. This temple is on the arid desert plain outside Trujillo, near the Pacific coast. (Right) Terry deals with his discomfort with heights on a ridge 1,000 feet above the river below. Macchu Piccu is down there somewhere.
Urgent News
Boycott Kimberly-Clarke! All the major environmental groups (i.e. Sierra Club, Greenpeace, etc.) are urging an immediate boycot of K-C products, which include:
- Kleenex
- Depends
- Kotex
- Huggies Diapers
- various paper towels
The reason? K-C is responsible for the destruction of the last of the old-growth forests. For the sake of shareholder profits and slightly softer tissue, the Boreal and other ancient forests are being laid to waste for the virgin fibers that Kimberly-Clarke covets. The remainder of the trees are left to rot. This is senseless and unnecessary.
Please see our links page where the Sierra Club site and others will explain this tragedy in greater detail, and show you how you can make a difference!
